CAMP POODLE LOGO
This took quite a few hours to pull off, as I first not only needed to find a high-res-enough image of the gate with which to start, but needed to create two logos that would eventually work their way into the scene. Weirdly, the freely-available Jurassic Park font, despite how ubiquitous it is whenever something Africa-related or tribal needs to be inferred, doesn't quite hew as close to the original JURASSIC PARK typeset as I would have thought, and Neuland Inline is even further from it. In order to pull this off with any legitimacy, I needed to handcraft several letters to switch the JURASSIC descriptor over to DOUBLE.

Notice I ditched the trees in favor of the Austin skyline, and, of course, that's me jumping! I tried a version with a skeletonized-Brad in an attempt to remain consistent with the logo, but it just looked creepy - like a Charlie Brown skeleton. Just didn't translate and freaked me out.
Wait, wait - we're still not done! The original Jurassic Park entrance gate from the movie had JURASSIC PARK in huge letters above those huge saloon-style wooden doors, and THAT font is nowhere to be found! So, once again, I had to create new letters using the original letters as a limited reference. Big pain! After that, it was just a matter of giving it some perspective, depth and the proper shading and coloring to put it into the scene.
Finally - the end result! Obviously, the ending raises more questions than answers, but due to Instagram's limited 15-second time allowance, we may never know what's behind those giant doors leading into Double Park, or if the driver of the Ford Explorer survived!
And for those close attuned, why, yes, that IS an acapella version of Jurassic Park playing in the background, and while I made some slight audio-modifications, the original version is an amazing amalgam of talent consisting solely of Peter Hollens. The YouTube video of his performance(s) is definitely worthy of a watch and continued exploration of his other works.
